Nikki Schoolcraft, RN

Nikki is the most caring and incredible nurse and mentor. Not only does Nikki care about the health of her patients, but she cares about how they feel. We had a patient come in who was scared and nervous about her health. Nikki was there to help and care for her. Nikki noticed she needed a little TLC and took it upon herself to take the time and help this patient.

She asked for special supplies from other floors and, in her free time, sat with the patient and helped her brush out her hair and detangle it. Nikki gave the patient some food and water and just sat with her. The patient later told Nikki how much this meant to her, to be shown humility, especially with her condition. The patient stated, “She helped me do the simplest things when I was so weak.” I continue to look up to her as a nurse and person!
