Nikki Sweeney, RN

My daughter, an intellectually disabled adult, was hospitalized at Douglas Wellstar. Nikki was her nurse for three of those days. Nikki was incredibly patient and supportive of both my daughter and me through some very difficult times during that hospitalization. She provided outstanding care to my daughter, including quickly recognizing her first-ever seizure and immediately calling in the response team to provide care. On one of her off days, she even brought in balloons, a card, a stuffed animal, and coloring supplies for my daughter. Her nursing care was superb, and the personal attention she provided was truly above and beyond.
