Nikki took care of my daughter several times while we waited for a liver transplant. Nikki took the best care of our girl that we ever received during any of our multiple hospital stays. Not only did she take such great care of my daughter, but she also took very good care of me as a parent. Nikki was attentive to details, even the little things that others seemed to overlook. She made sure all my questions were answered quickly, all my concerns were addressed quickly, and that anything we needed was available. If something was said that I didn't understand, she would always take the time to make sure I fully understood what was going on.
On a few occasions, I would have to leave the hospital to tend to my other child at home. I could trust Nikki and knew my daughter would be well taken care of while I was gone. For that reason, I would only make trips back home on the days Nikki was her nurse.
Facing transplant and liver failure was an overwhelming time that I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through. Nikki always knew what to say to ease my mind and make things less stressful. I feel Nikki always went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was always receiving the best care possible. I don't recall ever seeing Nikki without a smile on her face. Nikki will always be our "DAISY". I'll never be able to put into words how thankful I am for the care she gave us doing the darkest time of our lives. Riley hired the best when they hired Nikki. I wish every person hospitalized was able to experience the care we received from her.
