My surgery was yesterday for right knee replacement. Nikki helped prepare me for the surgery, including data collection, IV port in my hand, and general info. explanations. Nikki was many things, including humorous, thoughtful, supportive, and apologetic when her first IV attempt failed, answered all our questions, supportive of my wife's concerns and shared some of her personal knowledge. We did not feel rushed. We very much appreciated her patience and kindness in a time of very high stress for nurses. She was a blessing.
