Nimmy Francis, BSN, RN

Nimmy displayed unbelievable poise and competence for 12 hours of an incredibly challenging shift. Nimmy started her shift providing post-mortem care to her newly assigned patient while demonstrating a calming poise and tact to the family members. At the same time, Nimmy was helpful to other staff members while maintaining care for her own patients. She also demonstrated respect and dignity while dealing with a patient acting out towards her. Then she admitted a patient that medical personnel thought should be transferred to a higher level of care, by morning, however, she enabled him to become stable.

Until that time, it was an extremely difficult night mentally, clinically, and physically. Nimmy exemplified grace consistently under the pressure of this difficult shift. I believe a perfect way to acknowledge Nimmy is on this prestigious platform. Thank you, Nimmy, you have every reason to be proud of the nurse and woman you are at work, every day.
