Nina showed unselfish care to patients in the ED. Some of the cases/clients were PUI and she showed so much care in placing IVs under ultrasound guidance. The ED was busy and the other nurses were trying to keep Nina from going into the PUI room after she just completed an IV for the other PUI. However, Nina stated, "I'm the only one who can place these IVs under ultrasound guidance and the patient needs a line." When I heard these strong words and saw her determination to provide care, my heart was excited. Moreover as the dynamics in the ED continued I saw Nina assist her team with other tasks with a spirit of excellence.
