Nina was my night nurse with my son (and later my daughter) when they were in the PICU after an accident. My son passed and we chose to do donation. The night before, we sat with him and I was so sad; Nina stayed with me all night asking me to share stories about him and look at all the pictures and videos I could find. Later she would also help with my daughter, and again would see my pictures and videos, and even if she wasn't assigned to us, she made sure to pop in to see us and ask how we were doing. It's not easy to let your emotions go in a job like nursing but having someone like Nina who very visibly cares about her families is an absolute treasure.
