My Dad fell in July 2022. We have been in so many hospitals and rehabs from valley fever and several strokes and terminal cancer. Many nurses have been great with my Dad, but Nina has gone above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable and keeps him calm emotionally. Little things like taking time to listen to him try to find the right words to putting water in his oxygen so he doesn't get a nosebleed. Nina takes the time to make sure I am ok as I don't have a lot of support, and my Dad is at the end of his life. My dad is a wonderful man. It is difficult because he gets angry because of the strokes, but he's normally so sweet. Nina sees my Dad. She sees past the illness and cares for him, the man he truly is. I will forever be grateful that she was one of his last nurses. It is making this transition easier.
