Nina is patient, kind, and compassionate. Not only with her patients, but with staff also is kind and helpful. She is thoughtful and attentive to the care of her patients. She takes the time to explain procedures and what to expect in the delivery of healthcare and treatments. She is professional in the workplace, I saw her use sterile techniques in drawing blood, starting IV’s and giving IV medications. I never felt rushed, she never seemed to be in a hurry and took the time to explain everything to us. I probably am the worst and best critic as I am also a Registered Nurse (at another hospital) but it was unknown to your staff and Nina on our visits! We love St. Francis and your philosophy of caring for others in such a compassionate way at times when it’s really, really, really needed.
Nina is an EXTRAORDINARY RN! Nina was my mother’s RN when she had a stroke. She took care of my husband when he had an emergency appendectomy. Not a lot of RN’s are recognized on the Night Shift and she’s one of the best – she really deserves the DAISY Award!
