Nina Thorne was nominated for her tremendous positivity and dedication to her patients.
Throughout the labor process, Nina ensured that her patient knew exactly what was happening and explained each step with compassion and kindness.
“By the time her shift was ending, I still had not delivered my baby, so I asked her to stay,” the patient says. “She had every right to go home, but she agreed to stay with me until my baby was born.”
As her 12-hour shift stretched into 18, Nina remained positive and continued to provide the patient with encouragement and exceptional care until the baby arrived.
“Nina truly is a hero,” the patient says. “She’s the perfect example of A+ service!”
