I frequently work with Niru when I get floated to 5DIMC. I wanted to nominate her because you can always count on her to help, and she's an incredibly hard worker. She deserves recognition! Recently, I received a very high acuity run with multiple patients becoming unstable. Niru offered to give meds to one of my stable patients so that I could focus on and prioritize my unstable patients. Without her doing that, I would have been behind, felt more overwhelmed, and patient care delayed. Also, whenever MERTS are called, she always comes to help, or if you need help finding something or learning something, she is always a great resource and teacher. It's not just one instance but a multitude of instances in which she stands out.

Compassionate, understanding, patient, full of life, kind, joyful, gentle, great listener, always with a smile and happy tone in her voice, fun, great work ethic, handles situations efficiently. Niru helped me through a lot of pain with all of the above attributes. Went out of her way to get me juice that wasn't on the floor and needed for a bowel movement. Stayed calm and loving when I was grumpy. Had a healing and warm touch for me when needed.
