Nkechi Onogwu, BSN, RN
My nurse’s personal compassion care, and agape love far exceeded her clinical expertise, which was formidable to begin with. I was encompassed with loving care since this is the final journey for my husband. We thought we would have at least 30years more to enjoy each other, but God decided other plans.
Meeting Nurse Onogwu was like God sending me an angel to confirm my path, comfort me, and assure me that all would work out. She was firm, she was wise, and she was gentle when necessary. She changed soiled sheets without complaining, always cheerful, never critical. Nurse Onogwu only came for two days but her loving touch and tender comfort will always remain with me until I meet her in Heaven.
Thank you Kaiser, for hiring such a wise, tender and loving nurse. She also taught me the nurse skills I would need in the days ahead: How to “roll” a patient, change sheets in bed, tip the bed without disturbing the patient, etc.
