Nneka was amazing! I felt absolutely horrible post op. She made me feel so comfortable. Explaining everything that I was going through and how she was going to help me. She was very kind and gentle with instructions. I didn’t feel like she was talking to me as if it was her job but more as if she genuinely cared. I felt very comfortable and confident with Nneka’s care. She was very thorough and detailed with questions that I asked. She was also very kind when I needed anything. I was having a lot of pain and anxiety. She validated my feelings and pain. I never felt like I was bothering her or that I was being inconvenient. She is truly a gift to the medical industry. I can’t say that I’ve ever had a “good” experience in a hospital setting. I can say now with GREAT confidence that because of Nneka, my mindset has changed. I will forever let everyone know how amazing South Suburban Hospital is, thanks to Nneka. A very mentally and physically traumatic surgery felt so much lighter, thanks to her. I will forever be grateful for her.
