July 2024 Honoree
Noah Wicherek, RN
Noah was kind and calm, listened well, and gave solid eye contact. All of his actions and words were honest and it was easy to trust him at his word. Thankful that he is a nurse in our community and at the Robert Young Center. Above all, he made me feel safe, which is foundational as a patient at RYC. God Bless you, Noah!
***
Noah helped me on my first day of rehab, I had broken down in tears and was feeling overwhelmed and very burdened. I felt able to express all my feelings when talking to Noah, who reassured me that I was in good hands with the right steps towards treatment. He helped me understand the unit rules and routines when I was not understanding them. Noah also talked about using interpreter services to support me with the nuances of the discussions at group therapy, and it helped me feel more comfortable as I got to know my surroundings. Even though he only had 6 months of experience, Noah did a great job! He knows how to support patients and is exactly the right fit to help those he cares for!
