My dad had an LVAD placed and had some post-surgical complications. Noel was his day shift nurse for two of the more eventful days of his recovery. She truly went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable. She also kept us informed and patiently answered questions in layman's terms to multiple family members, so we understood how he was doing. She called us when he was extubated, as we happened to be outside the hospital at that time.

Words do not suffice to explain our gratitude to Noel for her kindness, effort, and the quality of care she gave Dad. She is the personification of the values of nursing and the quality of care provided by the Cleveland Clinic.
