I brought a patient to the unit, and on the way, the patient said Noel was an angel who went above and beyond taking care of her. The patient was a young mother who was facing a very difficult situation. She was having to choose between being admitted to the hospital to be treated for something life threatening, or AMA so that she could care for her young children. Noel arranged a safe place for the children at the Crisis Nursery Center. Initially, they refused the children due to staff shortage, but Noel convinced them to help so that the mother could get the medical treatment that she needed. This is just one example of how wonderful and caring Noel is.
