I was brought to the Trauma ICU after my kidney transplant. Noel was my RN the morning after my first night. From the moment she introduced herself to me, I felt comfortable, secure and taken care of. Her bedside manner and attitude towards her patients and pride in her job was so evident in her patient care. She treated me like her family member and made me feel comforted during the absolute scariest time in my life. Not only did she take care of me extraordinarily well, she was also the charge nurse of the unit that day and was helpful in aiding with anything I needed. When I was cleared to be moved up to the transplant floor, she offered, despite her very hectic day, to personally take me to my new room. As someone who worked at a hospital for 7 years previously, I can say whole heartedly that Noel is an angel, and has found her calling. Exceptional care, exceptional nurse, exceptional person.
