September 2025 Honoree
Noela Tabukum, RN
I am nominating Noella for her quick response to my need for someone to talk to and open up to, and for making herself available to me. I was able to open up to her and express my anxiety and fears, self-actualization, when you are comfortable, secure, and sense of belonging, she noticed that I was sad and displaced. She took the time to encourage me and support my needs. Noella really should be nominated for her reassurance that my physiological and safety needs will be met. She was so sweet, gentle and very soft spoken but a heart of gold. Just in shock that she noticed I was hurting. She really prioritized Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, and I greatly appreciate her nursing process. “As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the mind, soul, heart, and body of our patients. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” I will always remember you.
Thank you, Noela, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
