Noelle Pisanello, RN

A patient was actively passing on the unit during the night shift and her son was due to be married soon. The son wanted nothing more but to get married in front of his mother before she passed. The clergy was not present and could not perform a ceremony, so Noelle called around to various units to find someone who was ordained. Luckily, she found a resident in the emergency room to perform a short marriage ceremony. Noelle also took decorations from the staff breakroom and decorated the room. The family was extremely thankful for her efforts. The patient passed away an hour or two later.
