This angel in Disney scrubs gave me a treatment that I didn't know I needed. She literally is a nurse that has been there since the day my daughter was delivered. Having a baby during COVID has been isolating along with daunting and Noemi made this experience far from isolating. She gave me friendship and adult conversation that I didn't know I needed. I didn't realize that I needed to have interactions with other adults that wasn't consumed with conversation about my daughter’s care. But the only way I was able to build a relationship like that was by trusting the person caring for her.

On many of nights, Noemi is the reason I was able to sleep because I knew my child was with someone who cared for her the same way that I did. She didn't treat my daughter as just another patient she treats, she spent time talking to her and joined her crazy journey known as mommy. She endured my insistent probably redundant questions but treated them as if I asked them for the first time each time I asked. She also allowed me to get to know her as well. She has become the friend I didn't know I needed until I had it. Their growth and progress have been formed by her village and you are a huge part of that.

I am so thankful for your patience but more importantly your friendship. The stimulating conversation you provided during what could have been a clouded and isolating time I pray I am able to touch one person in my lifetime the way you have me. I simply thank you for making this journey the best experience anyone could have asked for considering the circumstance. I am so thankful our paths have crossed.
