When things get stressful around a possible resuscitation of a baby, she is the one nurse I want available to help. We had a mom come in who was in active labor, an hour and a half later, the baby was born needing resuscitation. Because of Nola's anticipatory assistance, we had everything and everyone ready and things went smoothly. Even the Pediatrician commented that it made his job so much easier with Nola there, anticipating what he needed and having it ready.
