She was so willing to go above and beyond to make us feel at ease with all of our questions and concerns answered.
My brother is 63 and has been facing some struggles with chronic conditions for many years, and they are now starting to more negatively affect his daily life with falls, pneumonia, and heart failure. This has been a very difficult time for our family as we navigate figuring out how to make him most comfortable with the best care.

Along the way, there have been a lot of miscommunications, unanswered questions, and obstacles. During the most recent hospital stay, where he was diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs we met Nora. From the very beginning, she was kind, informative, and willing to help with anything we needed. She took the time to answer questions and patiently explain things to both us as a family and my brother.

Despite my brother being stubborn at times, Nora was nothing but kind and considerate as she talked to him and explained his options. She never was short or frustrated despite him, at times being a bit difficult during his stay. Nora helped our family get in touch with social work by trying multiple times to get a hold of someone and even calling other units to make sure we got the help we needed. She was so willing to go above and beyond to make us feel at ease with all of our questions and concerns answered. She was integral in helping get a care coordination meeting so we could iron out any miscommunications we have faced along the way.

Thanks to her help, we were able to talk to social work, a doctor, and gain information about talking to palliative care about next steps. Overall, she was just so willing to listen, help, and connect us to people who could best help us going forward. Nora was a joy to work with during his stay and made a very positive impact on our family. She is a very kind person and an amazing nurse who went above and beyond to help my brother and our family!
