Nora has been my nurse for a few evenings this week. She is one of the few nurses who truly listens to the concerns of my disorder and truly empathizes with how I feel. She always encourages me to reach my goals and does not make me feel bad when I do not make them. She goes above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and my NG tube is placed properly. She does not look at me like I am sick; she treats me like I am a young adult. Nora does not use triggering words and took the time to actually get to know me. She is extremely gentle and always uses kind words. Nora makes things easier for me. She has the purest heart.
