Nora was very welcoming. Her warmth and welcoming spirit made my postpartum experience great!
When my son was born he was in the NICU for nine days. It was an extremely hard time for me and my family. Being away from my other four children was hard, being unable to hold my baby due to phototherapy was hard, pumping for three days straight to make milk for my baby was hard, but Nora was encouraging. When I worried about all the issues that go with a thirty-three-week-old baby, she reassured me that we would be fine. When I was upset with the doctor and the choices she made, Nora encouraged me to voice my concern and speak up for myself. Most of all she listened, she made me feel like a person, and she validated my feelings. She showed compassion; that was just what I needed.
