Norma is always available to help any department; she goes above and beyond her nursing practice always helping those in need, from nursing, patients and even family members. She does supervising once a week. Recently we had several trauma patients come in who were undocumented immigrants, she helped clean them up and cared for them in the ED, upon dismissal several had no clothes so she went to Walmart and bought them clothes. She has a big great heart, very caring and a compassionate person. She shows all the Core Values every day!

The night before my colonoscopy, Nurse Norma came to my room and explained what I was going to expect for my "first colonoscopy". She was very positive and took her time explaining the before and after symptoms. During my colonoscopy she smiled at me and made me feel safe. She was very helpful and showed concern for my illness.
