In addition, the child presented to our clinic in a wheelchair too big for him; he expressed how upset he was that he could not do things on his own, or be independent, and he could not play with other children because he always needed help. Norma was able to help him obtain a wheelchair, and one day the child came to the clinic to visit with a big smile in his own wheelchair, sharing stories on how he could now play with his friends and be independent.
