Norma Salomon possesses some of the most important traits a nurse should have; compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills. I have seen her completely change a patient's and their family's experience in our hospital by taking the time to sit, listen, and explain the plan of care in detail to the patient. She also advocates for the patients by making sure the physician explains the plan of care to their patients. I have personally witnessed her comfort the families of dying patients and have seen the difference she makes. The patients frequently compliment the excellent care. I can see that she really loves the profession and truly enjoys making an impact in people's lives every day.
