Norma Stetter, RN

Norma was the ICU nurse during a stay where a patient experienced an unexpected and swift Code Blue. Norma quickly recognized what was happening and initiated life-saving measures immediately, which inevitably saved the patient's life. She managed to stay calm and collected during a very stressful situation and developed a great rapport with the patient's family, which helped with her having to explain what had happened. The family was very grateful and relieved to see she was the nurse for the patient the next day as well. This is not anything uncommon for her. Norma handles all her tasks calmly and does not let bumps in the plan throw her off. She takes everything in stride and always has a great attitude about it. She is a lifelong learner and takes it upon herself to brush up on procedures, policies, and new ways of performing procedures to fit best practice standards. She is such an asset and blessing to our patients and our team!!
