Norma, a Home Health nurse, was nominated by one of her patients. The patient described Norma as being very comprehensive in providing wound care to her legs. She highlighted Norma's gentle, yet firm touch when changing her bandages and when applying the medication ointment to her wounds. Norma was also recognized for her patient teaching and for assuring her patient understood the medications she was receiving and why they were ordered. The patient went on to say that Norma was also the ONLY person that her dog "Bullseye" took an immediate liking to (Bullseye does not bark when Norma comes to make her home visit!).
