In the brief time that I have been acquainted with Norman it has not gone unnoticed that he is an observant student who is quick to learn. Whether in the classroom or clinical setting, he demonstrates a high level of professionalism when carrying out his duties. Norman is a team player and has excellent written and verbal communication skills, which are very imperative in the profession of nursing. He demonstrates absolute commitment to the compassionate care of patients and their families. He is also a patient advocate and goes above and beyond to ensure that not only do his patients receive the safest care that he is able to provide, but Norman also delivers the quality of care that meets and often exceeds the organizational standards. With a great sense of ease, Norman demonstrates exceptional skill by making connections with patients, families, and peers by building relationships consisting of trust and respect. He will be an excellent addition to the Nursing profession, and I would be honored to one day work side by side with him as one of his peers. Therefore, I believe that Norman is a brilliant candidate for the DAISY in Training Award, and I wish him nothing but the highest level of success moving forward.
