I would like to nominate my manager for the DAISY Award because she went above and beyond in supporting our ICU team during a very challenging situation.

On a Saturday, which was her scheduled day off, she came in voluntarily to help us during a crisis with multiple admissions to the ICU. Despite it being her personal time, she immediately stepped in and worked alongside the team to make sure that all patients received safe, timely, and high-quality care.

Her presence not only helped us manage the heavy workload but also motivated the staff, giving us confidence and reassurance during a stressful shift. This action showed her true dedication to both her patients and her team.

She is a leader who leads by example, always putting patient care first and supporting her staff whenever we need her. Her compassion, commitment, and willingness to sacrifice her own time make her an exceptional role model and a true inspiration in nursing.

I believe she truly embodies the values of the DAISY Award, and I feel proud and grateful to have her as my manager.
