This past week we had an infant born in respiratory distress. Amy, Jackie, and Rhonda responded immediately to this infant. They were experts in their care of stabilizing this infant. I assisted them in helping collect labs, make phone calls, and grab materials they needed. These three worked fluidly together with all of their tasks and orders. I have always felt that our DMH nursery and labor team were one to be admired. This day in particular I witnessed them in action caring for a sick infant. These ladies and their skill set, compassion for each other and our families, and their dedication to giving their best for each shift do not go unnoticed.
