The Nursing Professional and Practice Development Center was established 1 year ago at DSFH-R Nursing Department. Team members are responsible for nursing professional practice, nursing continuing professional development, and nursing quality improvement.

This team has worked tirelessly to achieve the outcomes of the nursing department. All the team members are very supportive and passionate about their work. They are knowledgeable and serve as reference and role models for all our nurses. The efforts they put into training and developing all nursing staff decreased adverse outcomes, improved the quality of our nursing services, and nurse autonomy.

They are very dedicated and committed to nursing excellence. This was evident during the last CBAHI accreditation survey where the team has worked very hard to prepare all the nursing teams for this important milestone.

What makes this team so special is that they always do what they do, “going the extra mile” for the sake of the hospital and staff.
