My nurse, Ny, was by far the most caring and gentle nurse I've ever had. This was my second child after 6 1/2 years and a whole other experience. I was brought over to L&D by my Dr. with 4cm dilation and excruciating pain. My nurse quickly introduced herself and tried to get my mind off the pain. From the moment I stepped in, she made me feel comfortable. I was alone and scared. She had other patients but was quick on her feet, and as time passed, she always made sure to check on me. She listened to me. My nurse advocated for me. The team made it seem like I could wait and hold off, but my nurse made sure the residents and the team listened to me because I was in pain and tired. After my delivery, I was hemorrhaging, and my nurse held my hand. She reassured me that my baby boy was safe and healthy. It was scary for me, but having her there, I felt safe and cared for. She is beyond beautiful and has the most beautiful heart. She was made to be a nurse!
