Nydia Febus-Rodriquez has been teaching and leading the Move Support Group for the past several years. She is always highly motivated, caring and inspirational as she teaches. Nydia always has the Veterans in mind and teaches something new every week. The topics include how to eat properly, portion control, reading labels and different kinds of food. She helps conduct the MOVE weight loss group on physical, social and mental self-awareness. Nydia inspires the veterans to work toward and achieve their personal health goals. The veteran wrote that he'd been inspired to move for physical health, breathe for stress relief to keep spiritually fit and eat healthy. Nydia takes advantage of the weather and walks outside with the veterans to get them moving and keep their blood circulating, while encouraging them to become one with nature and environment. She's credited with improving the quality of life for each veteran by showing them their progress as they go through the MOVE program. Nydia has brought great credit to herself, the MOVE program, Castle Point VA Hospital and the US Veterans Administration.
Congratulations Nydia for putting veterans first!

Thank you, Nydia, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
