P – She shows compassion by taking her time to listen and you can see her patience in explaining what your medication is for.

E – One time I was in pain she came and checked me, she told me I had already gotten my pain medication, but she showed her empathy by calling the doctor and another nurse to give me another kind of pain medication.

T – I can trust her word when she promises to come back, she’s coming back to assist me with my needs even though it’s not her job to assist me with my bathroom needs.

A – The admirable trait she possesses is her integrity. she stands for patients' rights and she does the right thing for her patients whether somebody is watching her or not.

L – With her presence, you can feel her care and love. One time I was just staring at the wall, and she tapped my shoulder and asked me if I was ok. This is the kind of nurse that you want to take care of you. Other patients admire her too.

S – she is unselfish, even if it’s time for her to eat her lunch and I need her to asst me or I ask for medication she will drop everything to assist me. I want to see her name up on the wall like other staff because she deserves it.
