My condition was CHF 35% (could not breathe/sleep) including an already severe back/neck pain that never goes away. Being at John Muir made me feel like I had many angels to save me and comfort me. Oana cared for me, sitting at the edge of my bed for hours. Oana listened to me about my discomfort, including my vascular leg problems. She offered a heating pad for my back and compression stockings for my legs to help me. She always had a great attitude and smile and always came quickly to my room when called. But she would always come to my room without being called, asking if I needed anything or how I was. Understanding the demanding work as a nurse, she never griped, made a face or excuse; she was always here to assist me as if I was her only patient. She went above and beyond with patient care with me. I know this being a patient many times. Her energy and great mood made me think I needed to get out of there and get better. She always had a hand out to help me, and I know you are a great, awesome nurse to not only help me but all your patients. I really appreciate your above and beyond hard work and compassion as a nurse. I wish you the best and believe you will be helped in life as you helped me.
