Octavia McBride, RN

Octavia, a nurse in the IOU Unit, really went above and beyond to make my dad feel safe and at home as much as possible under the circumstances. She cared for my dad as if she were caring for her own father. My dad was experiencing pain in his neck, and Octavia continued to put multiple pillows until the pressure and pain he was feeling improved. Most nurses would have given up with what seemed like a simple request; however, she persevered until my dad had some relief. This is, in my opinion, an example of providing outstanding service.
