Octavia Queen, BSN, RN

I was feeling so sick and also upset because I had to miss a trip to Disney World with my best friend. Octavia Queen gave me positive affirmation and told me she was proud of me for listening to my body, as well as telling me she was proud of me for advocating for what I needed when I did. I literally started crying when she left the room after because that meant the world to have someone tell me they were proud because I was my own advocate. This is really hard for me, and I was in the hospital at the time. Octavia was also completely there for both me and my mom; she was very attentive to pain control and nausea, and she listened to me. She also made my mom and I laugh and smile which is hard when I feel so awful. I unfortunately had to spend lots of time in the Magee ER, and Octavia is definitely the best nurse I have come across. I feel safe with her, and that is a feeling that doesn't come often. Thank you for being so kind. I appreciate you greatly, Octavia.
