Our Oelwein Emergency Department has been the core of several community impacting traumas over the last two years. Caring for one's local community brings its own challenges, but it's even more impactful when it's one of your own colleagues' family members. This team has banded together through so much and has been nominated by a family for their quick thinking, life-saving measures. They used their combined skill sets and instincts to save a patient in an active heart attack, even when the equipment showed no problem. Thanks to this team, he is alive today!
