A late Sunday evening we were transported to the Emergency Room via ambulance. We waited in the emergency room area for a couple of hours, with little information on what was to come next. The emergency room was packed with several patients. We were moved up to the cardiology floor, and we were promptly met by the best nurse on the floor, Ofa!

Ofa immediately made my family and I comforted; we were more at home than we could have expected with a heart attack. All of our nerves were immediately calmed. Ofa took the time to listen to our concerns and then explained everything to us in a way that we were able to understand. He was very professional and kind at the same time. He made my wife's bed in the room for her to stay the night with me.

Ofa is genuinely concerned about his patients and checked in on us often. On our second day there after procedures were done, he was back for another shift and stopped in to see how we were doing, even though he wasn't assigned to us that night. Unfortunately, we have had our share of hospital stays, and Ofa was the best nurse we have seen. Ofa was certainly concerned and took the time to communicate with us. Dixie Regional Medical Center should be very proud and honored to have Ofa as an asset to the team. He is very professional, full of love, concern, and joy for my great outcome!
