Ofelia is a person with a heart. She is not only an effective and efficient RN but a wonderful person overall. I am a traveler but never once have I felt like an outsider. Staff Nurse Ofelia from day 1 up to now, has been a ray of sunshine to everyone she works with. Being in a Covid unit is already a stressful environment for the patient, families and nurses as well. But Staff Nurse Ofelia has always been a source of strength and optimism for everyone. She always had that smiling face that says we can do this together and always offers a helping hand to everyone. As a bedside nurse, she is already a “pro” by her years of experience you can say that she is indeed an exemplary nurse the way she cares for the patient and family is like a mother to her child.  As a charge nurse, she knows her craft very well. She has solutions to problems based on their protocol even intensivists will always look for her. She is an awesome leader and as a co-worker, she treats us like her family. It doesn't matter if we are agency nurses or not. She treats us with respect. Nurse Ofelia is an excellent nurse and an amazing person inside and out.
