Watching my daughter become calm after speaking and then listening to Jumi is awesome. The comfort in her was great.
Jumi walked into my daughter’s hospital room displaying her listening skills from the day shift nurse. She seemed to be approachable in her behavior. Jumi listened to my daughter while demonstrating her critical thinking skills, and after a while, my daughter was sleeping. It means a lot for a patient to listen and trust an individual when she is having excruciating pain. Jumi did not hesitate to call the doctor for guidance. Watching my daughter become calm after speaking and then listening to Jumi is awesome. The comfort in her was great.

Jumi is an amazing, compassionate, loving, kind, professional woman and nurse. She has the most attentive spirit. She loves her job. It shows how she cares for her patients. She makes sure you understand everything and answers all questions. Jumi is the perfect example of a nurse with pure compassion. I was in a very bad place mentally, medically, and physically. She helped calm me so that I could understand my care plan. Jumi is the greatest!

I would like to nominate Jumi and award her with the DAISY Award. She is an exemplary nurse. She is one of the most compassionate people that I have come across. I was in a very difficult situation, and my health wasn’t at its best. I was in severe, unbearable pain. She did everything in her power to comfort me medically, emotionally, and spiritually. She is honestly God-sent. The compassion that poured from her is pure. This is something that cannot be bought, nor taught. You must be born with that type of compassion. She’s very attentive, aware, knowledgeable, and understanding. I am truly blessed to have had her as my nurse. As a patient who was in dire pain and in so much distress, she brought a lot of calm to me. She made sure she explained everything not only to me but also to my mother. She made sure that we understood everything that she was explaining to us. Any questions we had, she answered them and did not make us feel rushed. Thank you so much, Jumi. You are an amazing woman and amazing nurse, and I know I haven’t known you long enough to call you my friend, but if I ever wanted or needed one, it would be one just like you. Thank you so much.
