Last year my dad was at BSA at the end of the year. This meant that my family spent a lot of time in his hospital room. I have never in my life met a soul so kind, sweet, and sincere as Olana. She was born to do the work she is doing. On Christmas Eve my family was feeling bummed and she came out to thank us for being there and to tell us how great my dad was. She could tell I was in a bad place and gave me a hug. Bless her. Olana was dear to my dad. She was always there when he needed her and she never pushed him too hard. She was always reassuring and hopeful. Olana became part of our family in that short window of time and I am so grateful she was there. The number of lives Olana impacts is awe-inspiring.
