Olivia Barefoot, RN

I had back surgery and stayed in the hospital for two nights. Olivia Barefoot was my night nurse. I was having trouble urinating, apparently my bladder had not yet recovered from anesthesia. I had already been catheterized once during the day, and I was reluctant to do it again. So I asked Olivia for her thoughts. We had a discussion, and she explained her position based on her experience and knowledge. I was impressed with her medical knowledge and her positive attitude, so I chose to proceed with another catheterization. As it turned out, Olivia was right on the money. My bladder started working properly. As a result, I was able to go home the next day. Olivia has great medical understanding along with her experience. She took time to explain what was happening and what she could do to help me move forward. I felt confident being in her care. She is a credit to her profession, and I am grateful for her help.
