Olivia Ferguson, RN

My 80-year-old father was brought in by ambulance after a fall that morning. He has dementia and was very confused and afraid. Olivia Ferguson was so kind and patient with him. Dad had to go for a CT and X-rays and Olivia went with him to keep him calm. She checked on him several times to be sure he was comfortable, and she kept my brother and me updated often. So many people have no patience with my dad because he doesn’t think or respond quickly. Olivia allowed my dad time to respond. She made a very stressful visit to the ER better. Thankfully all Dad’s tests came back normal, and he didn’t have any fractures. Aurora and St. Luke’s Southshore are lucky to have Olivia on their staff!
