Olivia Foster, RN
December is a month that I will never forget. Not only because with it came the birth of my son, but because it was the month that I became septic, lost my uterus, and my world and plans for the future were changed forever.
Olivia took care of me for three long shifts and brought with her comedic relief, advocacy for mental and physical health care, serious pep-talks when I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore, and a passion for infection prevention. Olivia might not be the fastest at getting it done, and it might take a few trips to gather all of the supplies, but she is going to get it done right.
