One remarkable example of Olivia’s clinical acumen occurred when she identified early signs of a pulmonary embolism in a patient. Her persistence and ability to communicate her concerns effectively to the hospitalist on call led to a timely diagnosis and treatment, likely preventing further deterioration of the patient's condition. Olivia's keen judgment and quick action ensured that the patient received the necessary care at a critical moment.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Olivia is known for her outstanding bedside manner and her unwavering advocacy for her patients. Her ability to assess the urgency of a situation and communicate this clearly to the healthcare team contributes significantly to safer patient care and better outcomes.
