Olivia Martin was the primary nurse in CVICU taking care of my husband. He was rushed to emergency surgery. She was a calming force, kept me informed, answered my questions. She kept my husband and me calm as she prepared for a 2nd surgery the very next day. She makes sure every detail is given attention and even stayed an hour after her shift to make sure last-minute changes were handled. She has a very patient, attentive manner that both myself and my husband found comforting during this very difficult and tumultuous time. Olivia went above and beyond to make us feel truly cared for during a scary and uncertain time. The ICU staff is tremendous.
