The perinatologist came to see me just before shift change. In the moments before she was off the clock, I was put in an upside down position, with continual monitoring and a bed pan. Olivia stayed long enough to put me on the monitor, and get me set up, but she stayed longer to sit with me and monitor the babies. She talked to me to make sure I was ok. She kept me informed and helped me understand what was happening. She gave me so much that night before she went home.
